MEBO Gastrointestinal Capsule for treating benign
upper digestive tract disease
40 patients with benign upper digestive tract
disease were divided into
3 groups according to their own will.
Patients in the 1st treatment
group were treated orally with MEBO Gastrointestinal Capsule alone,
patients in the 2nd treatment group were treated orally with MEBO
Gastrointestinal Capsule plus “standard 3
combination” therapy and
patients in control group were treated with “standard 3
combination”
therapy alone.
Gastroscopic examination was done before and after
treatment, to observe the changes in the lesion area.
Result:
Most
of
the patients in the 3 groups had stomach
and duodenal ulcers, accounted
for 64.4%.
The curative
rate in the 1st treatment group was 78.9%, in
the 2nd treatment group was 75.0% and in the control group 70.0%. The
difference among the 3 groups had no statistical significance.
Conclusion:
The short-term efficacy of MEBO
Gastrointestinal Capsule in
treating benign upper digestive tract lesion examined by endoscope is
up to the level of the “standard 3 combination”
therapy.
